Have you met Gesa Hansen?

Gesa Hansen is the face behind The Hansen Family, a new Scandinavian furniture brand who have collaborated with Kitsuné on a wooden trunk for Barneys Newyork… A good occasion to pass by the Kitsuné interrogatory 🙂 !

Hello, my name is Gesa Hansen. I am a Designer.
I am 29 years-old. I was born in Germany, and my hometown is a tiny village in the german woods but now I live in Paris and spend my holidays in Guethary.
Someday, I would like to live at the ocean, but for now, I spend my days working in Paris.

If I was a young band in a little town of Ireland and trying to seduce Gildas in being featured in a Kitsune Compilation, I would call my band _________ and my first track would be called _________ and to seduce Masaya I would dress only in _________ and _________.
(I WAS a young band and tried to seduce Gildas and Masaya in being featured in a Kitsune Compilation but our music sucked. So I tried design, that worked better! )

I first met Kitsuné when I was working together with Benjamin Biolay on my album.
The last time I saw them was a few weeks ago when Masaya and I worked on the trunk Project for Barneys.

If Kitsuné asked me to do a compilation, my top 5 songs would be
Jamaica – I think I like U 2
Robyn – Fembot
Grossstadtgefluester – Muss laut sein
Up all night – French Horn Rebellion
Walking on a Dream – Empire of the Sun

My favorite writer is Thomas Mann.
My favorite holiday destination is California.
The biggest crowd I have ever seen in front of me for a performance was of 7000 people
My favorite Catherine Deneuve movie is Les Demoiselles de Rochefort
The most horrible Madonna songs is Don’t cry for me Argentina
When I was a child, I dreamed of being a captain on a huge sailboat.
The best thing of capitalism is spending money!
The addiction I should quit is spending money.
My house looks like a mix between scandiavian design, bauhaus and chaos.
My current project is the trunk for Kitsuné and I’m preparing the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2011.
I spent yesterday night celebrating at the Architecture Bienale in Venise.
