Mallet-Stevens Street
A narrow street in Paris, located in the posh 16th district, bears the name Mallet-Stevens.
This street was not created to commemorate the great architect after his death, but was in fact built by himself, then at the peak of his fame.
Consisting of six Cubist houses, hailed as “a manifestation of modern architectural art”, the street was triumphantly inaugurated on July 20, 1927.
