Kitsuné x Flouzen class 2010-2011

It made sense for Masaya Kuroki, creative director of Kitsuné, and Julie Rousselet, designer of flouzen, to join forces again on a new collaboration.

When Masaya Kuroki first saw flouzen’s handknitted cashmere ties collection, he was intrigued by the idea of a collaboration born of their common desire for timeless and qualitative collections.

For AW 2009, Kitsuné brought the idea of a fox tail tie to flouzen, as a throwback to the celebrated charatcter of the fox in the « Fables de la Fontaine », and a collaboration was born.

The new Kistunéxflouzen tie collaboration marries into Kitsuné’s AW10 collection. After all, students need ties ! Julie Rousselet graduated from the french equivalent Science Po. The circle is complete.

The collection comprises of six tie models, whose colors are inspired by 5 universities : Columbia, Harvard, Pennsylvania, Princeton and Yale, and Science Po.

The collection is available at Kitsuné store, 52 rue de Richelieu 75001 Paris, at the end of september.
