Cosas Mínimas By Blanca Gómez
Blanca Gómez is an illustrator and a graphic designer based in Madrid. “Cosas Mínimas” is the result of tiny things she used to draw on post-it several year ago, as a hobby at work. What was initially meant to be a personal project gradually and naturally turned into a professional project.
In some parts, we can see the influence of the French illustrator Sempé, with the tenderness and humor in his illustrations, and it also reminds the posters of the Deauville Film Festival. The 30’s codes which emphasize on the main thing, with the simplicity of the shapes, the rangy silhouettes, the focus on accesories such as umbrellas, hats, scarves, pipes, balloons…
