1.Strange Boys- “for lack of a better face”

I like the slide guitar.

2.Tame Impala- “expectation”

I like the vocal line.

3.Santo & Johnny- “sleepwalk”

It’s my favorite song.

4.Atlas Sound- “shelia”

I like the slowed down chorus.

5.Magic Kids- “hey boy”

I am on tour with them right now ,and I like listening to them play this one every night. It reminds me of “nowhere man” mixed with the beach boys.

6.Gene Pitney- “town without pity”

No one makes songs like this anymore…people don’t sing like this anymore either.

7.The Remains- “don’t look back”

It took me a long time to realize this is a Christian song.

8.The Third Bardo- “I’m five years ahead of my time”

I like the way he annunciates the lyrics on the verse…real swagger.

9.Tony Bennett- “rags to riches”

I’m into the story…real class.

10.The Zombies- “whenever you’re ready”

One of my favorite zombies songs.
