Second Date is Henry Birkbeck, a London-based producer who generally operates at the slower end of the dance register.
He recently remixed The Magician’s new EP Feat. Jeppe – “I Don’t Know What To Do”.

Having lived in New York and Paris while growing up, he draws influence from a range of sources on both sides of the Atlantic. His production places emphasis on intricate beats, warm bass, poppy vocals and arpeggiating piano – the latter of which has become Second Date’s trademark.
Second Date could be placed somewhere between the balearic disco of Delorean, the piano chopping of James Blake, the delicacy of The XX and the heartfelt layering of Bon Iver.
