“It was really hard making the video in Copenhagen. There was a stylist at the shoot that was wearing a sweatshirt that had ‘happiness is a warm pussy’ written on it. That was very distracting. I also nearly got into trouble after hitting a listed building with a bow and arrow.” – Tom Burke, Citizens!

Their single “Caroline” will be out on Kitsuné on July 2nd.

The end of last year saw the band support The Rapture and more recently they played the Electric Ballroom in London as part of the NME’s run of Award show gigs.
Having recently finished their first U.K. headline tour & a three week residency at London’s Ridley Road Market Bar, the band head out for further dates in May and June, including a number of European shows.
