Kitsuné Parisien III – Dombrance "Donna"

Dark horse Dombrance was already used to zigzaging between producing and playing for others and doing his own stuff. He’s now going from one release to the other on Kitsuné. First with his track “The Witch” featuring Sourya on the new Gidas Kitsuné Club Night#3 and now with the hypnotic chugger ‘Donna’ on Kitsuné Parisien III.

And since the track is on Kitsuné Parisien III which will be on February 4th, we asked him a few questions.

Read it below!

What does Paris represent for you?
My second life.

Paris in 3 essential places?
L’Oiseau Sans Tête : you’ll eat the best “paupiettes de veau” in Paris and the boss is really good at making cocktails according to your mood.
Le Pulp : it’s closed now but the “Kill the Dj” parties are my best club memories ever.
La Cigale : the best concert hall in Paris, the venue is beautiful, the gauge is perfect and it’s where I’ve seen the best live shows ever.

The song that describes Paris the best according to you?
“Paris” by  Taxi Girl, just because people love to say they’re bored in Paris.

Your favorite track from the two last editions of the Kitsuné Parisien series?
“Airports” by Slowdance, it reminds me of Stereolab. Very cool!

What’s next for you?
Keep on composing and planning my next album. Tour as much as possible with David Shaw And The Beat, which I just joined for their live tour. To finish, keep on producing and mixing with nice and interesting bands.

Dombrance likes to stamp all over balearic and cosmic vibes and to share it with others, but today, it’s another kind of vibe he’s sharing with us in the new video of “Donna”.
Watch this amazing video-patchwork of atypical dancing dudes.

At least we can say that Donna’s beats fit perfectly with off beat dancers.
