Kitsuné Parisien 3: Superpoze "Transylvania"

From drummer to beatmaker, this could resume well the story of young dj Superpoze. His percussion training at the French music conservatoire made him a gifted composer, who is now skillfully drumming on computers, resulting in trip-hop tracks and chilly harmonies, like “Transylvania” which is the digital bonus of Kitsuné Parisien 3.

We wanted to know a little bit more about Gabriel, so we interviewed him on his Paris favourite places and future plans.

What does Paris represent for you?
Paris is the notion of cultural effervescence embodied. The best shows, best exhibitions, the most beautiful areas. There is always something to do, to discover and to love. Maybe I like Paris that much because I don’t live there.

Paris, in three essential places?
I don’t know the city very well. From what I know, I would say the Canal St Martin, the Jardin des Plantes and Sainte Marthe street.

The song that describes Paris the best according to you?
My hip hop culture makes me say “Panam” by Triptik, even if this track doesn’t describe the Paris that I really know.

Your favorite track from the two last editions of the Kitsuné Parisien series?
“The Race” by Pyramid.

What’s next for you?
2013 will be a year full of shows. A great series of live performances is planned. New remixes will be released. And I’m working on my next release. Can’t wait!
