The Bordeaux producer Dombrance is releasing his new EP “The Witch” in association with Sourya on March 11th on Kitsuné! Definitely one of the most exciting collaborations emerging from the Parisian scene.

Why did you accept to remix The Witch?
Dombrance is a friend and the track is just great, so…

How would you describe your music to someone who doesn’t know you?
Music for Sticky Fingers !

What is for you the best album ever made ?
Impossible to point out just one ! I’m re-discovering lots of things at the moment so Adam and The Ants / Kings of the Wild Frontier. But there are cycles.

Do remixes excite you ?
The exciting part is to change the musical direction of the original track, go the opposite way and transform the original with your own style.

What have you got coming up ?
« David Shaw & The Beat » is my main project. My first album « So It Goes » (Her Majesty’s Ship) was released on October 29th so I’m mainly working the live act at the moment  for quite a few concerts coming up. I also have a « Trance in Mexico » remix Ep coming out in february, involving Justin Robertson et Marc Pinol.

What can’t you live without ?
My pocket piano.
