Last Day Of Urban Outfitters Contest For Kitsuné Club Night Easter Party + Is Tropical Interview!

Yay! There are some goodies available to win if you participate to the Kitsuné x Urban Outfitters contest for the Kitsuné Club Night in London – Easter Bank Holiday Special party !
And tomorrow is your last chance to try your luck, so hurry up!

Open up your easter bunny ears and follow well these instructions: take a picture of yourself doing the “easter bunny ears”, hashtag it #uokitsune and tweet it at @maison_kitsune and @uoeurope. You have until tomorrow to participate to the contest and even win tickets for the party, some Kitsuné compilations and exclusive t-shirts from our Kitsuné Tee line!

While waiting for the happy contest results, read our interview of the outstanding and outlandish IS TROPICAL and watch their brand new video for “Yellow Teeth” below!

“I’m Leaving” your second album will be released the 20th of May on Kitsuné. Which direction did you want to take for that album?
For this album we wanted to take our lo-fi to hi-fi. Everything was based around the songs being stripped down to busker versions and then built up with vintage Moogs, Oberhiems, Korgs, Arps, Les Pauls ect. where our first album was mainly soft synths. This time we believe it’s more accessible in a pop sense.

You are playing at the Village Underground on the 28th of March. Are you excited to share the stage with D E N A, Aeroplane, The Twelves and Gigamesh?
We always dj Twelves and Gigamesh remixes in our sets! As a band we’re as keen to share a bill with dance acts as we are with bands. The late night setting is the one for us, dark and typsy.

What is the parallel between IS TROPICAL‘s logo and Yves St Laurent’s one?
We are fans of great graphic design and typography and the Yves St Laurent’s logo is second to none. Lucky it worked with us ripping it off, like Crystal Castle stealing Coco Chanel.

Tell us your three favorites places in London.
The Alibi in Dalston is our late night hang out, it’s like our Cheers. Gary’s house (IS TROPICAL HQ), always crime or bondi beach rescue on the TV, plus that where the magic happens, kinda. And Totten canal skatepark.

The Kitsuné Club Night will take place in the trendy arty district of Shoreditch, East London, to shaken up the Village Underground, London’s last platform for creativity and culture.

Honoring the Easter Bank Holiday Special theme, the line-up is more appetazing than a chocolate easter eggs !

For the first time in United Kingdom, D E N A and her super-catchy anthems will be on stage. Escorted by the hands-in-the-air electro of Aeroplane, electronic duo The Twelves and dance-floor tastemaker Gigamesh.

A warm and friendly dance-athon, animated by the usual elite-sonic sophistication, from who you can expect relevant and exciting live performances!
