Kitsuné AMERICA 2 : Papa "Put Me To Work"

Behind this comforting name are Darren Weiss and Danny Presant, and the Big Apple’s latest darlings are hitting hard with the urgent “Put Me To Work”. Papa sounds like a garage rock band with a very soft and profound voice that goes with heady melodies. Swaying between a time lost when young people were practicing in their parents’ garage and the current wave of indie-pop-rock bands, Papa is a little bubble of summery sounds.

A bit lost? Just listen to their track “Put Me To Work” while reading three fun facts about them, and you’ll now what we mean :

1. From ages 6-8 Darren wanted to move to Bosnia and join the ballet but that was replaced from ages 8-10 when he wanted to go to Chico state and make capes out of all different types of materials.
2. Danny wanted to be a garbage man at age 6 because they get to standup while driving.
3. We are all really good at kissing.

Also, do you remember that they played at our showcase during the SWSX festival? Photo report here!
