Superpoze New EP "Pavane" Out May 27th
After learning to play drums for 7 years at the French music conservatoire, Superpoze decided to go for electronic music. And he did well : his productions are powerful and smart. He might be young but he proved himself worthy : you already heard “Transylvania” on our Kitsuné Parisien 3 compilation and he has also done a remix of Two Door Cinema Club for their last single “Next Year”. Well today, he’s back with a new EP : “Pavane”, out May 27th!
“Pavane” actually refers to a classical composition from the 16th Century and, by the way, Gabriel Fauré, who bore the same (real) name as Superpoze, composed the most famous one of all. Thus, “Pavane” is a smart wink to his personal life as well as Superpoze’s classical culture . The complexity of his production gives it depth which is quite rare for a 20 years old producer. Finally, the three remixes of “Pavane” embody quite different universes : first Dream Koala and his dreamy harmonies, Fakear, Superpoze’s childhood friend who serves us a flawless remix and Dombrance for a pleasant clubbing version!
