We’re back for another round of musical surprises! This year, Kitsune Maison 16 ‘The Sweet Sixteen Issue‘ is about showcasing some of the most exciting artists of tomorrow with a little ‘teen years nostalgia’ twist!
After introducing you to Fakear, it’s time to take you in the house side of the compilation with Davidian!
From Nottingham, the 22-year-old Davidian is another Brit smitten by the resurgence of American house beats. You know the one, 4/4 kick and open hi-hat on the offbeat, female wailing and hands-in-the-air pianos. A tried and tested formula that still makes the world go round and gets those dancefloors busy.
Teaming up with the rising-bass duo Eli & Fur, he definitely marks his spot on the compilation with a radio edit of his just-released single ‘Could Never’.

Photo that reminds me of my teens: A terrible picture of teen me mid-blink in the studio during my first year of university in Leicester, late teens but still where I spent the majority of my life for the last few years of them!

Song that reminds me of my teens: Friendly Fires – Jump In The Pool. A song I listened to pretty much every day on the way to college.
3/ Memory
Best memory: Playing a ‘gig’ with my school band, aged 14, and having the entire year group initiate a mosh pit. The last time the school would ever allow a band play during assembly… Turns out rock music wasn’t for me.
