“K.I.M” – Maison Kitsuné Fall/Winter 15 Men Collection
With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, it's time to reveal some of Maison Kitsuné's Fall/Winter 2015-16 inspirations and looks...
For its Fall/Winter 15-16 collection, Maison Kitsuné pays tribute to the mysterious soul and beauty of South Korea. Known as the “land of the morning calm”.
We decided to pay homage to this country and its trend-setting aesthetics.
In this collection it’s all about sophisticated cuts and details for a complete man’s look. Luxurious, refined and textured fabrics are boldly combined while still playing with contrasting colorful effects.
Inspired by the delicate dream-like drawings of South Korean artist Moonassi and the trigrams represented on country’s flag, we’ve incorporated these designs. Last touch of the collection: “Kim” was transformed into “K.I.M”, short for “Kitsuné Institute of Music” as a nod to Kitsuné’s musical heritage.
Conceived by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, co-founders and Creative Directors, the “K.I.M” men’s collection presents a modern spin on the graphic style of the 1960s with new colors, patterns and silhouettes to be soon discovered!
