Paris Désert – Maison Kitsuné Spring/Summer 2016 Women’s Collection
Taking you in a "Paris Désert" with Maison Kitsuné's Spring/Summer 2016 women's collection ...
Come summer, Parisians either escape the urban bustle to seek a calm oasis or remain in the capital, a newly deserted terrain that invites exploration.
Conceived from this spirit of adventure, Maison Kitsuné is thrilled to unveil its women’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Filled with romance and optimism, this season embraces the sartorial inclinations of those who thirst for exciting escapades filled with promise.
Iconic pieces are reinterpreted to suit the summer season. Exhibiting carefully selected textiles that play with contrast and texture, the collection features raw cotton, light chambray, moleskin and linen, which are creased, slubbed and washed, then combined unwaveringly with richer fabrics.
With a subtle appeal, the season’s motifs – bandana, hibiscus, check, geometric micro floral, polka dot and stripe – further the depth and edge of the line while length lends itself to a nouveau shift in silhouette.
Designed by co-founders and creative directors Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, the “Paris Desert” Spring/Summer collection presents a laid-back and fluid vibe while maintaining the effortless chic that defines the Maison Kitsuné woman.
