Maison Kitsuné Spring/Summer 2017 Women’s Collection

For its Spring/Summer 2017 Women’s collection, MAISON KITSUNÉ explores the burlesque world of The Party (1968) – the emblematic American film directed by Blake Edwards. Conceived by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, co-founders and creative directors, this whimsical collection is marked by a unique combination of French elegance, 70’s romanticism and a touch of humor.

The silhouettes are light, laid-back and slightly mischievous. In delightful contrast, breezy, flowing fabrics are paired with textured poplins, structured gabardines and quilted cottons. Feminine detailing like smocking, delicate ruffles and diaphanous pleats adorn tops, dresses and Japanese lamé pantsuits, while the use of fluid crepe and satin reflects the playful, carefree sophistication that defines the MAISON KITSUNÉ woman.

The latest Women’s collection from MAISON KITSUNÉ is at once effortless and relaxed, energetic and playful, offering the ideal pieces to transition your wardrobe to lighter, warmer weather for Spring/Summer 2017.
