Jean Jullien

Following the French couple of illustrators Mrzyk & Moriceau, and southcorean artist Moonassi, it is now Jean Jullien’s turn to illustrate the label’s last musical selection by bringing a breeze of fresh air and tenderness.

Jean Jullien is a French graphic designer born the 14th of March 1983 currentlyliving in London. He comes from Nantes and did a graphic design degree in Quimper before coming to London. He graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2008 and from the Royal College of Art in 2010.

His practice ranges from illustration to photography, video, costumes, installations, books, posters and clothing to create a coherent yet eclectic body of work.

His work, greatly influenced by cartoons, comics books and the mainstream culture of the 80’s, presents itself as an invitation, a space open to all. The relevance of his vision on the world surrounding us has landed him numerous works for the press (Télérama, The New York Times ou encore The Guardian).
