You played for the first time in France last 18th February at Faust, what do you think about the French scene?
It’s funny because my interest in making music stemmed from French house with artists such as Daft Punk, Cassius, Alan Braxe & Fred Falk etc. I have them to thank for the funkier and disco elements in my tracks.
Can you share with us your music crush of the moment ?
I am rediscovering an artist called Vestige who has a promising SC catalogue. In terms of artists I’d like to work with , I’d love to collaborate with Jeremih and Drake.
Tell us more about your last EP Short Stories, some elements about its atmosphere and influences ?
As I discussed in my interview with Red Bull, the EP is a representation of an exciting turning point in my life, combined with my aims of taking the listener to as many different musical landscapes as possible. I wanted the outcome to be thought-provoking, and hopefully leave a lasting impression. That’s why it’s called ‘Short Stories.
What’s on the list of your upcoming projects?
I am working on my first album and making that my focus right now.
