Designed  by 25 year old architect <a href=\"http:\/\/www.srlarkitekter.dk\/\">Soren Robert Lund<\/a>, still a student at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.karch.dk\/uk\">Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts<\/a> at this time, its white concrete\/stranded ship structure lies just a few meters from the beach.<\/p>\n<p>The museum shelters an impressive permanent collection of some 300 works of Art, from young nordic talents to world-renowned artists such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.damienhirst.com\/\">Damien Hirst<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/tillmans.co.uk\/\">Wolfgang Tillmans<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.olafureliasson.net\/\">Olafur Eliasson<\/a>.<br \/>\nThe latter is also currently showing <em>Your Blind Passenger<\/em>, a 90 meter long tunnel whose dense fog instantly blurs the visibility and senses of visitors that experience it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Arken11.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Arken11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"329\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10448\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong><em>SOCIAL MOBILITY (STAIRCASE)<\/em><\/strong> by Michael Elmgreen &amp; Ingar Dragset<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Arken20.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Arken20.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"329\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10455\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong><em>LYSKEGLE (LIGHT CONE)<\/em><\/strong> by Thorbjorn Lausten<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Arken22.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Arken22.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"329\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10457\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong><em>YOUR NEGOTIABLE PANORAMA<\/em><\/strong> by Olafur Eliasson<\/p>\n<p>As a temporary exhibition, ARKEN just displayed the work of german artist Anselme Reyle. Based in Berlin, Reyle creates large-scale abstract paintings and multimedia sculptures.
