Juveniles<\/a>‘ first single \u201cWe Are Young\u201d<\/a> will be out next week on october 24th on Kitsun\u00e9 and also be availabe on our new compilation Kitsun\u00e9 Maison 12<\/a> \u201cThe Good Fun Issue\u201d out on November 14th (pre-order the compilation on iTunes Europe<\/a> and US<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Only a few days before the single’s release, meet the band through an interview and an exclusive playlist.<\/p>\n

First of all, could you tell us a bit about the story behind the band ?<\/strong>
\nTo be honest everything happened very fast, Pierre and Jean Sylvain were living in the same flat when they started playing together. We had barely started recording a few songs and finding a name for the band – actually that part was hard- and we already had great feedbacks from people around us. Like The Popopopops, or the Yelle crew who helped us a lot and still does.<\/p>\n

How would you describe your band and music in a few words ?<\/strong>
\nNaive Synthpop ?<\/p>\n

What’s the best thing about having a single released on Kitsun\u00e9 ?<\/strong>
\nThe media exposure which is crazy, and the relationships it has created with other artists.
\nFor the We Are Young EP we had to get in touch with a lot of people to ask them if they were interested in remixing the track, and we often had good feedbacks. By the way thanks a lot to those who did the remixes and are on the EP with us, we’re really proud.
\nOh and the artwork too, we just love it.<\/p>\n

What would be your dream place for a concert ?<\/strong>
\nSouth America, Jean Sylvain has Chilean origins and some of his family is there.<\/p>\n

What’s the funniest thing that happened to you on the road?<\/strong>
\nTo tell the truth we haven’t taken the road a lot, we’ve just started touring together ! We’ll talk about that later, after supporting Yelle in Paris, I think it’s their last gig of 2011 it will be fun.<\/p>\n

What are your plans for the coming months? <\/strong>
\nGetting back in the studio to record new stuff, finish our video for “We Are Young” and have fun on the next shows with our fantastic team.<\/p>\n
