Ad\u00e8le Haenel<\/a> is a young French actress, delicate but with a really strong personality. She belongs to the new generation and is soon to be a very popular actress but we discovered her a few years ago in La Naissance des Pieuvres<\/a> (check the atmospheric soundtrack<\/a> by Para One<\/a>) and more recently in the new Bonello’s movie L’Apollonide<\/a> (House Of Tolerance<\/a>) a modern view of a Maison Close in the early 1900’s.<\/p>\n

After receiving this sparkling photo series for french magazine Technikart Mademoiselle<\/a>, we decided to meet her for a little talk.<\/p>\n

A director whom you would dream of working with? <\/strong>
\nI would love to work with James Cameron<\/a>, because I am as obsessed and very well informed about The Abysse<\/a> as he is. I also love the way he mixes technical and cinematographical evolution. My dream is to play Terminator<\/a> in motion capture.<\/p>\n

The last movie you saw at the cinema? <\/strong>
\nMillenium<\/a>. It really loved the movie, and the actress was especially great.<\/p>\n

A cult movie? <\/strong>
\nThe Mask<\/a> with Jim Carrey<\/a><\/p>\n

A movie scene you would dream of doing?<\/strong>
\nFighting with a man. At first I think he is too strong so I start talking to him, but then he insults someone I love and who is about to die so my eyes turn red and I kick his ass.<\/p>\n

One thing you would hate to play\/act? <\/strong>
\nI would hate if the man won<\/p>\n

Your best shoot memory?<\/strong>
\nI loved the shooting for Waterlilies<\/a> and also the one for L’Apollonide<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actor whom you would prefer playing with?<\/strong>
\n Rooney Mara<\/a><\/p>\n

One song people should absolutely listen to?<\/strong>
\nThe Night Last Night by Mark Ronson and The Business Intl<\/a>. Any song by Bashung<\/a>, Fever Ray<\/a> and Vaya Con Dios <\/a><\/p>\n

Your Paris top 5? (restaurant, bar, things to do\u2026) <\/strong>
\nLe Jardin Des Plantes<\/a> (for the wale’s sceleton)
\nLe m\u00e9lies<\/a> (nice films, not so expensive)
\nL’Aquaboulevard<\/a> (for the cold water bath)
\nLa Java<\/a> (for the parties)
\nLa Cantine Saint Maur<\/a> (very good food)<\/p>\n

What’s next for you ?<\/strong>
\nI will be playing in La Cour Du Palais Des Papes for the Avignon festival and in a movie by Katell Quillev\u00e9r\u00e9<\/a>.<\/p>\n
