{"id":23466,"date":"2012-12-06T14:22:42","date_gmt":"2012-12-06T12:22:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.maisonkitsune.com\/mk\/?p=23466"},"modified":"2012-12-06T14:22:42","modified_gmt":"2012-12-06T12:22:42","slug":"kitsune-meets-alice-et-virgile-interview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maisonkitsune.com\/mk\/2012\/12\/family\/kitsune-meets-alice-et-virgile-interview\/","title":{"rendered":"Kitsun\u00e9 Meets Alice Et Virgile &#8211; Interview"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Young, parisians\u00a0and dashing producers\/djs, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LOGOrythme?fref=ts\">LOGO<\/a> have been signed to Kitsun\u00e9 for a pretty long time now, since their first EP <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.kitsune.fr\/p\/logo-la-vie-moderne\">&#8220;La Vie Moderne&#8221;<\/a>.<br \/>\nHere at Kitsun\u00e9 we are more than proud of LOGO and their very recognizable aesthetic sound that became very singular and outstanding in the French electro scene.<\/p>\n<p>Their track &#8220;Fabrice&#8221; and the video, have been especially acclaimed. That&#8217;s why we decided to meet Alice et Virgile, two talented and passionate artists who directed the psyche-catchy videoclip of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/TRROAta7fNs\">Fabrice<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TRROAta7fNs\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>How would you describe each other ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Virgile<\/strong> : Alice is really spontaneous and I often have to soften her.<br \/>\n<strong>Alice<\/strong> : \u00a0It\u2019s true. I\u2019m the spontaneous and he\u2019s the voice of reason. So when we work together we find an ideal balance. Plus, we\u2019re really opened to each other\u2019s ideas. When one wants to record something, even if the other is not that enthusiastic, we try it anyway and then we judge by the final result. Actually, our references and universes are such similar, we always finish to agree.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you still study?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alice<\/strong> : Yes, I\u2019m at the Gobelins school, in Paris. Before, I was at the Ateliers de S\u00e8vres during two years.<br \/>\n<strong>Virgile<\/strong> : I don\u2019t study anymore. I used to attend literature courses at the Sorbonne Paris.<br \/>\nAlso, I learnt photography on my own. Well, with a little help from my mother who is a photographer. It helped me because I already got a lot of equipment within easy reach : especially specific learning books, which taught me the bases and mechanics of photography.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Sans-titre3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23565\" title=\"Sans titre\" src=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Sans-titre3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"266\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>How did the idea of this video clip come ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Virgile<\/strong> : Hugues and I were introduced during a party. We talked together and, one thing leading to another, I offered him to make a video for his song \u201cFabrice\u201d. He agreed and there we are.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How long did it take and where was it shot ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alice<\/strong> : It was shot in Picardie. In small villages and ports, in Ault to be exact. It took 4 days. As we already knew the group LOGO, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Moreover, all the people around us were extremely helpful. For example, the owner of the bowling where we shot were overjoyed to receive us, he didn&#8217;t even ask anything except the link of the video. It\u2019s not like in Paris, where you cannot film anything without an official authorization.<br \/>\n<strong>Virgile<\/strong> : As well, I\u2019ve to add we had no budget at all, except our own material. But we were organised as real video-makers and clip directors.
