That&#8217;s why, Gildas included Bufi&#8217;s brilliant remix of Plastic Plates&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.kitsune.fr\/p\/plastic-plates-things-i-didnt-know-i-loved-ep\">&#8220;Things I Didn&#8217;t Know I Loved&#8221;<\/a> in his new mix!<br \/>\nListen to Bufi&#8217;s remix here!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F71112965\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Here is our interview of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bufimusic?ref=ts&amp;fref=ts\">Bufi<\/a>, talking about his mexican influences and his latest -and future- successes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why did you choose &#8220;Bufi&#8221; for you stage name?<\/strong><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s my mother\u00b4s last name, who is Italian. We use two last names in Mexico, so my entire name is Mateo Gonz\u00e1lez Bufi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Last September you released your debut album &#8220;Trigoly&#8221;, can you tell us more about it?\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nIt is my first long-play. It features 9 songs that I developed over 2010 and 2011. First single, &#8220;Happy Robot&#8221; was released on Kitsun\u00e9 Night Club Mix #2 on december 2011. The album was released 4 months ago, and we are making the video for the 4th single, &#8220;Labios Rojos&#8221; that will be out on january 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You played with Lifelike at Wanderlust in Paris one month ago.\u00a0Had you already met him before? The atmosphere was nutty?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo, I hadn&#8217;t met him before. Atmosphere was awesome, Wanderlust is such a good place to spin! Baptiste (Zimmer) also did an awesome set that night, and it&#8217;s because of him that I played there. It was cool to meet Fred Agostini, and then discover he used to make this legendary parties called &#8220;Respect is burning&#8221;. Paris is so great, my french blood always feels attracted to that place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How is the night life in Mexico City?<\/strong><br \/>\nExplosing! Both nightlife and concert scene have rapidly grown in the past 6 years. I guess Internet and the proximity to USA are both reasons for this to happen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What inspires you there?<\/strong><br \/>\nMy friends, the music they do. The music we all spin together as a big family called &#8220;Electrique&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You remixed Plastic Plates (feat. Simon Lord) &#8220;Things I Didn&#8217;t Know I Loved&#8221;. Why this track in particular?<\/strong><br \/>\nI love that song! It has an awesome 80\u00b4s laidback vibe.
