I am a true video club devotee.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>Do you like to work with Michel Gondry? Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>I love working with Michel because he is so much fun and the jobs with him are always great. He has such a great spirit and his joy is contagious. I would love to continue working with Michel in the future&#8230; But he is also my good friend. It has been a life long passion of mine, this isn&#8217;t something that happened over night. I thought all things were possible. I now imagine having my own films that I&#8217;ve directed, written, and\/or produced in a video club.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>How would you describe yourself as a filmmaker?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>I&#8217;m a storyteller. \u00a0The truth is important to me. \u00a0I&#8217;m very much influenced by W. Eugene Smith and Larry Clark&#8217;s philosophy and psychology about telling &#8220;honest&#8221; stories.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Capture-d\u2019\u00e9cran-2013-03-13-\u00e0-19.46.56-copie.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31008\" title=\"Capture d\u2019\u00e9cran 2013-03-13 \u00e0 19.46.56 - copie\" src=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Capture-d\u2019\u00e9cran-2013-03-13-\u00e0-19.46.56-copie.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"212\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>Which films stimulated you to play and shoot?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>There are too many films to name. \u00a0I love Mizuguchi and of course Godard. I love all the Filipino legendary directors such as Gerry de Leon, Eddie Romero, Cirio H. Santiago, Lino Brocka, Ishmael Bernal, and Mike de Leon&#8230; \u00a0They are some of my greatest inspirations to direct films. The modern day directors whom I love are: Larry Clark, Quentin Tarantino, Michel Gondry, Woody Allen, Spike Lee&#8230; All these directors I&#8217;ve apprenticed for and worked for. And there are many more directors that I&#8217;ve worked with, and really, I have no judgement on who is better or worse, I love everyone in cinema and they all inspire me.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>What is the overall message\u00a0behind\u00a0this film?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>To support your local video stores. Not having these video stores around will mess up the equilibrium of cinema.
