It&#8217;s also a good time to give you BeatauCue&#8217;s free mix they did for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gottadancedirty.com\">Gotta Dance Dirty<\/a>\u00a0so you can listen to it while reading the interview!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F82909734\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>How did your passion for graphism start?<\/strong><br \/>\nNot too sure, sometimes when I was a bit younger, not even sure I&#8217;m passionate about it, it&#8217;s more like a hobby when there&#8217;s nothing else on tv.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where does all your imagination\u00a0come\u00a0from?\u00a0You often draw fanciful universes, made of naked girls, food and garlands of flags. Do they represent your ideal world?<\/strong><br \/>\nYup, I tend to draw places I&#8217;d like to spend time in, but it&#8217;s also a weird representation of my friends and places that I actually go to. Basically everything comes from things I do or like, it&#8217;s way easier to get creative when you&#8217;re close to the subject.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/K154_cover5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34429\" title=\"K154_cover5\" src=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/K154_cover5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why do you often slip French slang words in each of your works?<\/strong><br \/>\nI love swear words and slang, both in English and French, since I&#8217;m French I&#8217;ve got a few favorites, and I indulge myself by sprinkling them among my drawings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You are the illustrator of Deezer&#8217;s latest campaign, what did you have in mind for this? Nothing can stop music, right?\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nAhah yeah, I didn&#8217;t come up with the concept or the slogan, I guess because of the heavy concentration of musical reference in my work I was a good fit for the campaign. It was a good chance to animate some of my character, and to do it traditionaly.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7joC05b2QNg\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>You are French but you are living in London, how can you explain it? France is not as inspiring as London?<\/strong><br \/>\nI just really really like London, I like how I don&#8217;t have to understand everything everybody&#8217;s saying, and it&#8217;s very exotic, the weather, the ladies, the palmtrees. All my French mates are here too, so it&#8217;s fits, also I&#8217;m from Cannes, and Cannes is so boring, I&#8217;m loving it here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is Music a source of inspiration?<\/strong><br \/>\nYeah big time, I play in several bands, I was into music way before I started to draw.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is the 3rd artwork you are doing for BeatauCue, how did your collaboration with them start?<\/strong><br \/>\nThey sent me an electronic mail via the interweb, I liked the name of the band instantly, and they were very friendly and polite, that how we started.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/4-beataucue-falcon-punch-mc-bess.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34430\" title=\"4-beataucue-falcon-punch-mc-bess\" src=\"https:\/\/validation.maisonkitsune.bird.eu\/mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/4-beataucue-falcon-punch-mc-bess.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you been to one of their\u00a0shows?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes, when they come to London, I even went backstage it was like going to Disneyland but with a lot more alcohol, it was brilliant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s your favorite track among their new EP &#8220;Lyrel&#8221;?<\/strong><br \/>\nMaybe\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/beataucue\/redblocka\">&#8220;Red Blocka&#8221;<\/a>, I also like the name.<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Would you\u00a0like\u00a0to do an animated video for Beataucue?<\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\nFor sure, that would be swell !<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s next for you then?
