On May 28th, the 13th Kitsun\u00e9 Maison En Vrai! will bring Guards<\/a>, Wild Smiles<\/a> and Techniques<\/a> together at La Maroquinerie<\/a>! By the way, Wild Smiles just released their terrific new single “Take me Away”! You can listen to it here<\/a> on Noisey. It will be a night to remember under the sign of indie-pop-rock.<\/p>\n

As for\u00a0Guards<\/a>, the band is based on three words : \u201cpsych pop rock\u201d. After releasing two EPs, the first one simply called “Guards<\/a>” and the second one “Resolution of One<\/a>” on Kitsun\u00e9, they \u00a0released their debut album “In Guards We Trust<\/a>” in February. Right after that, the five-pieces band hit hard by playing at the SWSX<\/a>\u00a0festival then the unmissable\u00a0Coachella<\/a>!\u00a0So we guess it won\u2019t take long before they become a household name. Won over by their catchy riffs blended with 60s\u2019 pop and heady lyrics, we decided that Guards would be the perfect to play at our Kitsun\u00e9 Maison En Vrai! #13<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Are you excited to come back and play for a Kitsun\u00e9 Maison En Vrai! in Paris ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We had a great time when we last played in 2011, which was right around when Guards started touring. Its been so long, we’ve done a serious amount of touring since then. The live shows really developed. We’re all excited to come back around again and show you.<\/p>\n

You’ve recently played in the US, have you recognize a difference between the US and French public? If so, can you tell us?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>The French audience has always been good for us, Especially In the smaller cities. They get out of their heads over a rock and roll show.<\/p>\n

You tour with Alt-J, Best Coast and Joy Formidable, and now you\u2019ll be playing with Wild Smiles at the Kitsun\u00e9 Maison En Vrai. Is there a band or any artist in particular you would love to share the stage with?<\/strong><\/p>\n
