Maison Kitsun\u00e9 is opening a\u00a0second boutique at the heart of Paris in September!<\/p>\n

Situated in the sixth district of the French capital,\u00a0the shop was entirely designed by the rising architect’s office Num\u00e9ro111<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Before you step inside this new shopping space, read\u00a0more about\u00a0the interior design masterminds below…<\/p>\n

For starters, tell us the story that hides behind the name Num\u00e9ro111: who are you, how did it all start?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Num\u00e9ro 111 is the story of three childhood friends:\u00a0Sophie Fran\u00e7on, Jennifer Julien & Gregory Peyrache; sharing a same passion for objects, volumes, shapes and materials.<\/p>\n

We have chosen to use this name to\u00a0symbolise our three\u00a0individualities:\u00a01+1+1.<\/p>\n

Could you define Num\u00e9ro111 ‘s general\u00a0style and aesthetic ideology?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our\u00a0<\/span>work<\/span>\u00a0relies on an ongoing dialogue.<\/span>
\nOur sketches evolve during these\u00a0talks and the result is often\u00a0representative of our three\u00a0characters.<\/span><\/p>\n

We get inspired by our daily lives, travels and the people we meet.\u00a0<\/span>Curiosity is a key-element to our creative process.\u00a0<\/span>We\u00a0constantly\u00a0ask ourselves about our surrounding and dive into several universes in order to bring out a\u00a0different approach to each project.<\/span>

\n<\/span>When starting collaborating with Maison Kitsun\u00e9, how did you start imagining Rue\u00a0Madame\u2019s boutique?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We thought the boutique as a reflection of our collaboration with Maison Kitsun\u00e9; uniting\u00a0music, fashion and design.<\/p>\n

To your mind what is the architectural essence of Maison Kitsun\u00e9 ? Did it help you built the interior?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maison Kitsun\u00e9 gets its inspiration from the effortless French elegance, taking the\u00a0architectural codes of the\u00a0\u2018Haussmanien\u2019 buildings\u2019 as the chevron\u00a0<\/span>wooden floors, the\u00a0moldings and subbasement\u00a0\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We got inspired by the intimate\u00a0flavour of the Maison Kitsun\u00e9 boutiques and imagined a space half way between a living room and a store.<\/p>\n

Three adjectives that best describe the 6th district of Paris according to you!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Elegance, feminity, refinement.

\n<\/span><\/em>We just can\u2019t wait to see the inside of\u00a0Maison Kitsun\u00e9’s new boutique, could you give us some hints of what will make it\u00a0special?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Rue Madame boutique is thought as a precious backdrop for the collections.\u00a0<\/span>Using pastel\u00a0colours and tones of beige from floor to ceiling plunges the customer into a smooth and soft atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

The furnitures\u2019 lines are subtle and uncluttered.<\/p>\n

Materials such as rattan, copper, leather and marble bring a singular charm to the space and enriches its identity.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
