Beataucue<\/a>‘s third EP “Falcon Punch” is out today on Kitsun\u00e9 !
\nThe EP contains six original tracks, including H.O.W.L, a collaboration with the Japanese DJ Shinichi Osawa a.k.a Mondo Grosso<\/a>.

On this occasion, the duo accepted to answer our few questions:<\/p>\n

First of all, could you tell us a bit about the story behind the band ?<\/strong>
\nWe met at school when we were 14, later we found out that we were digging the same kind of music so we started making sound in our rooms. It really started when we got the chance to remix Pon De Floor from Major Lazer, this remix had great feedbacks and the Peanuts Club from Brodinski & Noob remix followed with great feedbacks as well.<\/p>\n

How would you describe your band and music in a few words ?<\/strong>
\nWe are two guys from Caen making energic, noisy & fun music for the club.<\/p>\n

What’s the best thing about having a single released on Kitsun\u00e9 ?<\/strong>
\nKitsun\u00e9 is one of the best French indie label so we are really proud to work with them.
\nThe best thing is to play alongside Gildas at parties.<\/p>\n

What would be your dream place for a concert ?<\/strong>
\nUltra Music Festival mainstage in Miami would be huge for sure!
\nTokyo would be great too, dream place to travel to.<\/p>\n

What’s the funniest thing that happened to you on the road?<\/strong>
\nWhen we were going to Les Transmusicales festival<\/a> this winter in the shuttle with Stromae<\/a> and his family (including mother, brother, manager, photographer, press officer…). Junior passed his exam for sure sauce salsa.<\/p>\n

What are your plans for the coming months?<\/strong>
\nSo our new ep Falcon Punch is being released on 4th July everywhere.
\nWe got an Adrian Lux remix which will be released the same day on Ultra Records (home of Deadmau5, Tiesto, David Guetta and many more…) and a remix for the electro \/ pop UK band Cicada coming out in August.
\nAnd we are already working on the following collaborations, remixes, originals tracks.
\nWe are playing at some festivals this summer like Paleo in Switzerland, Solidays in Paris…
\nThere is a US tour being planned in October, some gigs in Japan and Asia coming right after the summer and Australian Tour (for the second time !) early 2012 !<\/p>\n
