biLLy
biLLLy’s ascent to become one of the pioneers of DIY RnB would have seemed unlikely from a young age. His father brought him up on a diet of jazz legends Bill Evans and Thelonious Monk. That lead an eight year-old biLLLy to pick up the trumpet and classical guitar, until, armed with Prince’s album Controversy, biLLLy took up the drums as he started to develop his own taste as a teenager.  After playing and creating his own band during college, biLLLy started taking his own releases seriously. In the summer of 2016 people really began to take note, leading to releases via Sweat Ent and Kitsune.
