Yellow House is the recording project of Cape Town based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Emile van Dango. As in Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting of the Yellow House, which resonates shades of yellow and deep, royal blues and greens, so too does Emile’s breakout project encapsulate all the same feelings of light and dark, existing dangerously parallel, yet somehow always in harmony. Sombre, but uplifting. Gloomy, but always hopeful.
