iamforest is the electronic project of multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter, and audio engineer, Luke Forest Hartle. Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Luke has travelled the world creating music in a range of styles. Picking up the guitar at a young age, as is the well worn path for most budding musicians, Luke has since progressed into the world of electronic production. The goal of the iamforest project is to bridge the gap between the inhuman perfection that electronic music allows, and the human imperfections that come with analogue instrumentation. The result is a warm, lofi, beat driven style that floats in and out of existing genres, creating the signature sound that is iamforest.
