MAX RAD

MAX RAD
Producer, singer/song-writer and multi-instrumentalist MAX RAD has been putting out self-reflective and heartfelt electronica alongside deeply emotional lyricism for the best part of 3 years. Blossoming out of London’s electronic music scene, with a string of very well received singles, a double EP entitled 'Save Me From Myself' and a mixtape entitled ‘Songs From Isolation’, the proceeds of which all going to support the NHS with the fight against COVID-19 in April 2020, Max's self-produced works have gone from strength to strength and have been championed in all the right places.

Brought up in the rural setting of Stroud in Gloucestershire, Max began writing and recording songs aged 6. Moving to London in 2018 and working out of anywhere he could find to set up, Max began producing, co-writing and mixing for other artists, including UK Dance music royalty Faithless, as well as Nathan Ball, Icarus, Laura Welsh, Havelock, DEVON and Elle Yaya to name a few. When writing music for his own project however, Max likes to seek out the peace that he was used to from his childhood, often disappearing down to the coast of Devon allowing for less distractions and therefore reaching much deeper places emotionally. With a love of electronic music, mixed with a passion for words and melody, this combination of melancholy lyricism and upbeat production is what separates Max from the crowd.
