The jams on Max's instagram were really just a way to stay sane during lockdown so it was a really nice surprise when Pollenna came back with this amazing song she had written to the jam. She first came across the beat for 'Away' on Max's instagram and it instantly clicked. Max doesn't know this but before he said yes to working with her on that track, She had already got down most of the topline ideas by recording the IG video from her phone into her mic, making a cheeky loop and having a play. She explains: "I love the hypnotic vibe of the track and that it isn't refined into a stereotypical structure. The track is about acceptance and hope."
