From Maison to Mountain, a new expression of the Maison Kitsuné Wardrobe.

Every city dweller longs to explore at some point. Maison Kitsuné ventures outside the city and unveils its Fall/Winter 2026 collection at Paris Fashion Week, taking Paris to the wild mountains and forests. This adventure furthers the Maison’s vision of a functional yet bold wardrobe. One that gives confidence to the Maison Kitsuné traveller through a mix of new ideas, quality, and a dedication to the art de vivre.

A combination of natural and innovative materials grounds Creative Director Abigail Smiley-Smith’s second season in the dualities of the Tokyo cityscape and mountain, Parisian atelier and wilderness. Maison Kitsuné is curious for what lies beyond the city limits and so finds itself in the wardrobes of irreverent cultural explorers.

Particularly drawn from the UNESCO Noguchi garden in Paris and Tokyo’s nature looming over the city with Mount Fuji serving as backdrop, the ability to escape it at a moment’s notice is woven throughout the collection - through a focus on textures, with wide-legged denim, loose tailoring and cropped jackets to build a silhouette.

With the fall/winter 2026 collection, Smiley-Smith’s vision for the Maison becomes more nuanced and expansive. Mountain and stream - Fuji and Seine – a complete wardrobe has emerged for Maison Kitsuné’s first presentation on the Paris calendar after seven years.
