edapollo is UK native / Melbourne based music producer and designer Ed Bidgood. His music fuses influences from atmospheric downtempo, electronica, house and other styles, keeping a focus on organic elements and a human feel in his production. Often his music combines the use of field recordings from his travels alongside layers of melodic and emotive instrumentation, utilising his capabilities as a multi-instrumentalist and producer. 2019 has been a big year for Ed. Having sold the majority of his possessions, he relocated 10,000 miles from Bristol to Melbourne. After years of experimenting with his sound, a change of scene and the results began to pay off in the shape of his debut album. In this short period he achieved 2 Hype Machine no.1s, widespread support including Majestic Casual, BBC6 Music, Triple J, Resident Advisor, Vogue, Mr Suicide Sheep and more. As well as producing his own music he has also been called upon as a remixer for the likes of Hayden James (Future Classic) and Henry Green (Akira Records).
Simultaneously Ed’s work as a Creative Director / Designer on campaigns and projects for Bonobo, RY X, Gabrielle Aplin, Maison Kitsuné, Sony and many more, has presented him with a diverse range of creative outputs.
