Hi Frisco is the combined duo made of Henry Eastham and Felix Rashman. “A big part of what we do is go: Oh, this sounds really nice and usable, but it’s a bit boring, can we make it weirder?” Felix says. “You could do all the things that other people do and use the equipment, but then you just end up sounding like other people, and we didn’t want that.”
Rest assured, there’s not many groups operating on the same sonic level as Hi Frisco. Their music is the perfect middle ground between experimentation and smart pop writing. That compromise is at the core of what Hi Frisco are about. Henry has been writing and performing as a session musician and guitarist for several years. Felix, meanwhile, takes on more of a producer role in the two.
