Maison Kitsuné “Carte Blanche” series
G*D BLESS AMERICA: AN ICONIC TRILOGY by LAURA MARCIANO
For its first Carte Blanche, Maison Kitsuné asked French Director Laura Marciano to translate some of its ‘Iconics’ in motion.
The result? An unexpected film featuring Euphoria’s new star Chloe Cherry and Harrison Ford’s stunning daughter, Georgia Ford.
“Super glossy, ultra-sexy, funny and weird, this trilogy is 100% Americana,” says Laura Marciano.
Unlike a usual fashion video, this project was approached as modernized Spaghetti Western in which one video leads to the next. Three wacky episodes, each centered on a character archetype inspired by stylized pop culture.
The sexy blonde, the rough worker, Mr. muscle man who loves to show off, the handsome cowboy, the elderly lady who lived many lives, the fruit vendor, and of course, the mysterious diner waitress.
The narrative is driven by each character’s charisma.
After causing havoc in a small town, our main heroine, ‘the May girl’, ends up on a billboard in Los Angeles as the ultimate Hollywood icon.
G*d bless America!
The short film trilogy will be released on Maison Kitsuné’s social media channels:
