BoyBoy’s “Boy” is a sincere electro-pop ode to self-love. Over a show-stealing bassline and swirls of pitch-stretched vocals samples, the L.A.-based singer/producer lovingly coos as if serenading his own reflection in the mirror. It is a psychedelia-tinged gem with an infectious groove that makes it compulsively listenable.
