Max Wheeler, a producer and DJ, has worked with artists ranging from members of Kraftwerk to Grime Legend Trim, also remixing artists from Snoop Dogg to Gorgon City. Over the last couple of years he has built a healthy online audience with his weekly analog hardware studio jams recorded onto reel to reel tape.
He is a resident DJ at much loved Brighton venue Patterns, presenting “Near Future” where he plays everything from 80s R&b, Amapiano and UK Funky through to cutting edge electronic and unreleased sounds.
He ran the ‘Producers Retreat’ party for 10 years showcasing unsigned artists and live art, and works as an educator and with Youth Music Project Audioactive supporting young musicians at the start of their music journey.
