James Hare - aka Women In Love - is a multi-instrumentalist composer / producer who wrote, performed and recorded everything you hear on this record. With shades of New wave, Disco, and Indie, Women in Love draws influence from sources as broad as Talking Heads and New Order, Little Dragon, Phantogram and much of DFA_Records. Tonight offers a dreamier soundscape, still retaining the catchy pop hook and production values one would expect of a Kaytranada or Four Tet classic.
