Cassette Tapes is a duo made up of Jackson Stokes (vocals and songwriting) and Parker Livingston (production). Both coming from musical upbringings and background, their goal is to make soulful, introspective and relatable music that taps into shared human experiences.
They were raised on everything from hip-hop to soul music to folk music- and their eclectic tastes inform their style, which is a nostalgic brand of soul music that has R&B flavors to it and modern, upbeat production.
