LANGVA is Toothfairy’s most recent signing. Inspired by artists such as Tame Impala, Toro y Moi, Jakob Ogawa and HOMESHAKE, his music contains catchy melodies, groovy rhythms and melancholic lyrics creating a style that lies in the intersection between synth-pop, R&B and indie-pop. Already noticed by Norwegian national radio NRK P3, his previous releases have gained him radioplay in Norway. In addition his song “In The AM” got highlighted as one of 2020’s best tracks by Indie Shuffle.
Teaming up with Toothfairy and the french label Kitsuné Musique he is now ready to unveil the single “All I Want From You”. The single kicks off a new spree of releases building for his new EP set for release in the upcoming spring 2022. Delivering funky bass lines, pumping vintage synths and cowbells, the tune presents an uplifting french-disco vibe perfectly fit for the dance floor, as well as relaxing days by the beach bar.
«In 2019 the first draft of the song was made. It started as a slower and darker song about two people who were drifting apart. But who said a sad love song couldn’t be an uplifting disco tune? Why not accompany heartbreak lyrics with funky bass lines, pumping vintage synths and cow bells? I think it makes for a fun listening experience.»
