* Do you remember the first illutsration that made you want to create artworks? What was it? Would you mind sharing it with us?
I can’t really remember my very first drawing but I remember the joyfull sensation of using finger paints when i was in pre-school. The next i remember is i entered the fine arts school.
* Does music inspire your work?
Absolutely, its a very essential component on my life, working on my desk, on the studio or just taking a walk, most of the time im listening some music, Each moment have the perfect mood so im so eclectic and I listen a lot of so diferent genres but its great how you enter it linking singular moments, experiences and connecting ideas or processes through music, wich is basically the meaning of creativity
* If your art was a song, what would it be? Why?
It could be Via Lactea by Franco Battiato because the cosmic vibe as an ordinary routine thing or maybe the Arabesque noº 1 covered by Isao Tomita. Its just two quick choices, possibly anyone covering classics in an unpredectible way of crossing styles like Richard Cheese, Los miticos del Ritmo or Hayseed Dixie.
* If you could illustrate one artist for his album cover, who would it be? Why?
Its difficult to drop a name, between so many talented artist but i guess some of i use to listening meanwhile working so i would be able to get back some of all the shine they brought.
*Is there a song on Kitsuné Musique you think would have been great for you to paint?
I enjoy digging new music and i have already discovered so many good songs and muscians from Kitsuné as Abc Dialect or Lelly and also enjoy some bright playlists and mixes like the ones created by Lazyxax and Fabich where i find the magical Stay and Wander by Tom Doolie.
* Now that you have linked painting with music, what other art would you like to explore?
Im deeply interested about mixing languages, crafts and techs and digital viewings with analogical processes, so I would love to enter ceramics to try some hand made or printed pottery pieces and also I love glass blowing since I was a child and see it for the first time, so I would like to test it at some point too but definitely what I really want at this time is launching this tufting project named Disco Pocho with my friend Bego Piñon and create some fluffy rugs and tapestries.
